Luigi's Coal Oven Pizza: Coal-Fired Pizza on Las Olas
Luigi's Coal Oven Pizza on Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale bakes its pizzas in a coal oven, which gives the crust a charred, smoky flavor. It's a great pick for a family pizza night out.
Coal-fired pizza on Las Olas Boulevard is hard to beat. If your family or group is looking for an easy dinner that everyone will agree on, pizza is a safe bet, and coal-oven pizza takes it up a level.
What makes coal-oven pizza different?
A coal oven burns much hotter than a standard pizza oven. The intense heat cooks the pizza quickly, which gives the crust:
- A charred, slightly blistered edge
- A smoky flavor you don't get from a gas or electric oven
- A crisp outside with a tender inside
